2020 CEF Telecom call - EU Student eCard Core Service Platform (CEF-TC-2020-3) CEF-TC-2020-3-eCard Open!

Objectives

The EU Student eCard Core Service Platform developed through the previous call (CEF-TC-2019-4) will be in use; it should be enhanced over time. Upgrades and extensions in terms of coverage, performance and functionality will be necessary as the scale of the operation grows, additional user contexts arise and further e-services subscribe to the core platform.

Actions

The objective of the current call is to further develop the EU Student eCard Core Service Platform with a focus to:

  • improve the technical specifications of the core platform and implement those improvements;
  • integrate additional student services (including services for higher education beyond the Erasmus+ programme);
  • develop user requirements, analysis and a first design of integrating the core platform with additional CEF building block(s), such as eSignature, eDelivery, eArchiving, or eTranslation;
  • continuously monitor and report the developments in the fields of once-only-principle and self-sovereign-identities, with a view to identify challenges and solutions for possible future synergies;
  • continue the outreach, collaboration and stakeholder management activities; and
  • provide technical support, training and testing services for the entities or services connecting to the core platform
