Objectives
In the part relevant to Generic Services for ePrescription and Patient Summary, the call aims to build on the commitment by Member States to:
- set up the eHealth National Contact Points (NCPeH)
- broaden the deployment of ePrescription and Patient Summary services to all Member States
In the part relevant to Generic Services for European Reference Networks (ERN), the call aims to build on the commitment of ERN members to start a clinical services platform for the ERN.
Actions
Under this call, proposals will be funded that address the following two activities:
ePrescription and Patient Summary:
- Support the deployment of generic services by Member States in the area of Patient Summary and ePrescription/eDispensation, as defined in the relevant guidelines adopted by the eHealth Network, enabling the connection of their NCPeH to the EU Cross-Border eHealth Information Services (CBeHIS).
- Specifically enable Member States which are not currently funded under the CEF to implement, test and operate the NCPeH which will allow them to exchange ePrescriptions and Patient Summaries.
European Reference Networks
- Provision of IT technical support (e.g. helpdesk, coding support, upload of data, maintenance of ERN-related webpage, etc.) to ensure the appropriate use of the ERN Core Services
- Training necessary for the use of ERN Core Services
- Purchase of hardware and software necessary for the use of ERN Core Services (e.g. hardware, high definition cameras, webcams, specific software related to the area of expertise and appropriate licenses)
European community funding
The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:
- 9,00 Million EUR (Global Budget)
