Objectives
The priority outcomes of this call for proposals are to support the Member States to meet the following main objectives:
- enable business registers to implement and support the requirements, the data model and the standard messages coming from BRIS, which may involve the upgrade of existing business registers.
- promote testing activities to ensure that transition to a fully operational mode is successful.
- for the purpose of document delivery, to either directly deploy the eDelivery Building Block, or use eDelivery through a service provider
- support the operation and maintenance of access points for a maximum duration of one year
Actions
This call will contribute in particular to:
- increase confidence in the European Single Market by ensuring a safer business environment for consumers, creditors and other business partners;
- create a higher degree of legal certainty as to the information in the European business registers;
- improve the performance of public administrations regarding cooperation between business registers in Europe in procedures for cross-border mergers, as well as the exchange of relevant information regarding companies and their branches.
Other specific expected benefits are:
- improved data quality in domestic business registers with cross-border coherency;
- digital implementation of cross-border processes;
- increased transparency and easier cross-border access to information on companies;
- increased possibilities for cross-border activities for companies;
- increased cross-border competition;
- better cooperation and communication between registers.
European community funding
The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:
- 2,00 Million EUR (Global Budget)
