Brussels will host on 9th July an information day on public-private partnerships funded by Seventh Framework Programme for initiatives on energy-efficient buildings, factories of the future and 'green cars'
A Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) information day for public-private partnerships (PPP) on energy-efficient buildings, factories of the future and 'green cars' will be held in Brussels, Belgium on 9 July 2010.
The information day will inform participants on progress made on PPP research and preparations for upcoming cross-thematic coordinated calls. The European Commission launched those PPP in 2009 with the aim of promoting R&D investment as part of the recovery plan to get Europe’s economy moving again.
The event will also look at research areas that are open and the conditions for participation. Attendees will be able to present their own project ideas, either by putting information on a billboard or by giving a presentation.
A networking and brokerage session is part of the day's programme. The event is being organised by the European Commission's Directorates General for Research, Information Society and Media, for Energy, and for Mobility and Transport.
Participants may also be interested an information day taking place on 8 July on the 'future internet' and public-private partnerships. However, a separate registration for this event is necessary.
