DG Education publishes two calls for proposals on Lifelong Learning Programme
The official journal of the European Union of October 15, 2009 includes the publication of two calls for proposals to implement, in different ways, European education.
The call for European associations active at European level in the field of education and training - EACEA/26/09 aims to support the activities of European associations in the field of education and training or which pursue an objective which is part of an EU policy.
In the implementation of Key Activity 3 of the Jean Monnet programme, the objectives of this call for proposals are:
- To support the existence of high-quality European Associations active in the field of education and training.
- To support European Associations contributing to the implementation of the Education and Training 2010 work programme.
- To support European Associations contributing to increasing knowledge and awareness on the European integration process through education and training.
Regarding thecall for proposals 2010 - EAC/41/09 - Lifelong Learning Programme, aims to develop and foster interchange, cooperation and mobility so that education and training systems become a world quality reference in accordance with the Lisbon strategy.
The call carries out various activities of the subprogrammes Grundtvig, Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus, Comenius and Lifelong Learning Transversal Programme. This includes assistantships, traineeships, mobility grants, study visits...
The budget for the call EACEA/26/09, which deadline for submissions is 10 December 2009, is 600,000 euros. EAC/21/09 is that of 1,020 million euros, and deadlines depend on the action it seeks to qualify: they vary between 15 January and 15 October 2010.
