New FP7 Call for Proposals to support the EURAXESS Services Network
The European Commission has published in the Official Journal of the European Union on January 22nd 2009, a new Call for Proposals under the work programme “People” of the 7th Framework Programme of the European Community for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration Activities (2007 to 2013), concerning trans-national operation of the EURAXESS Services Network.
The Specific Programme “People” supports activities stimulating people to enter into the profession of researcher, strengthening, quantitatively and qualitatively, the human potential in research and technology in Europe including as regards the potential of women. Within this context, the EURAXESS Services Network is a one-stop shop for researchers seeking to advance their careers and personal development by moving to other countries.
Call for Proposals FP7-PEOPLE-2009-EURAXESS will be funded with a total budget for 2009 up to 2.9 M€, which will finance the following activities:
- Co-ordination (or networking) actions: aimed at coordinating research activities and policies.
- Support actions: aimed at contributing to the implementation of the Framework Programmes and the preparation of future Community research and technological development policy or the development of synergies with other policies, or to stimulate, encourage and facilitate the participation of SMEs, civil society organisations and their networks, or small research teams and newly developed or remote research centres in the activities of the thematic areas of the Cooperation programme. Support actions normally focus on one specific activity and often one specific event.
Application Deadline
Applications must be submitted by April 22nd, 2009 (17:00, Brussels local time). Proposals in this call must be submitted electronically, using the Commission’s Electronic Proposal Submission System (EPSS).
