The Official Journal of the European Union has published on the 24 th December 2008 four new European Programmes related to  Youth, Culture, Internet and Creativity and Innovation.

Decision has been done jointly  by the European Parliament and the Council and it was published on the 24th december.

The four related programmes are:

• Decision No 1349/2008/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 amending Decision No 1719/2006/EC establishing the 'Youth in Action' programme for the period 2007 to 2013.
• Decision No 1350/2008/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 concerning the European Year of Creativity and Innovation (2009).
• Decision No 1351/2008/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 establishing a multiannual Community programme on protecting children using the Internet and other communication technologies.
• Decision No 1352/2008/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008 amending Decision No 1855/2006/EC establishing the Culture Programme (2007 to 2013).
