The contract is managed by the Directorate-General Information Society and Media, Directorate C — Lisbon Strategy and Policies for the Information Society.

The contract was initially published in the OJ in July and has been awarded last 11 Nov. 08  is to develop a manual for monitoring and evaluating the ICT research activities funded by the FP7 (notably collaborative projects, JTIs and joint programmes). The manual will be based on existing guides and toolboxes and will provide the definitions of key concepts and terminology, and will identify a range of appropriate evaluation methodologies and tools.

The contract has been awarded  to Joanneum Research Forschungsgesellschaft which is one of the largest non-university research institutions in Austria for 75,000 euro.
