On Sunday, October 5th, 2008 FADERE (Federation of Romanians in Europe) organize the European Forum 2008. The main objective of the event will be to improve the image of the expat Romanian community and seek solutions to the problems of diaspora.

Some important issues will be analyzed such as the way Romanian people rights are being respected as European Union members as well as other problems they face in the different countries where they reside. Presidents of associations of Europe, The United States and Canada will take part in this Forum.

The European Forum 2008t will take place in Alcala de Henares (Madrid), will have as a special guest the Romanian President Traian Basescu.
