The Information Society and Media DG, Unit H2: ICT for Government and Public Services has published a tender on the 2 nd august in order to develop good practice services in ICT for citizens and business.

The objective of the contract is to provide the following types of good practice services:

• Monitoring and on-line exchange in ICT.
• Update with relevant content a world-leading good practice exchange scheme for on-line electronic services in the public interest across Europe, building on the ePractice.eu initiative or other similar European Commission initiatives.
• Organisation of good practice exchange workshops and conferences.
• Organisation of European awards for best practices in ICT-related areas.

The total budget allocated to this contract will be a maximum 7,000,000 EUR for the whole duration of the contract plus its possible extensions for a duration of 24 months. Tenders can submit their documents until 13th october.2008.
