The Information Society and Media DGa (European Commission)  will spent 250.000 euro for the development of the european directory of women and Information and Communication Tecnologies (ICT).

The Information Society and Media DG has published in the OJ a tender related to the development of a European directory will serve as a searchable database of all major stakeholders, their activities, interventions, good examples, statistics and indicators and will create a platform for interaction with regards to product, personal mobility, development of customised skills, entering or re-entering the labour market.

The tender has been published on the 9th July at the Official Journal. Bids can be done until the first September 2009.

The contract is funded in the seventh research framework programme.
