Welsh Red Meat (Training for Processors and Marketers) aid Scheme
Wales, within the United Kingdom has received a training aid from the European Union. The European Commission published its notification granting the state aid under Commission Regulation (EC) No 68/2001 on the application of Articles 87 and 88 of the EC Treaty to training aid. The scheme is called the Welsh Red Meat (Training for Processors and Marketers) Scheme.
The scheme will aim to rpovide General training and Specific training to Agriculture, hunting and forestry within the Wales Region. The scheme started on the 1st Arpil 2008 and will complete a duration of just under six years until the 31st of March 2014.
The authorities in control of the scheme are Hybu Cig Cymru — Meat Promotion Wales, based in Aberystwyth, Wales are acting under Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006; set by the Government of Wales Act 2006 and will dispose of an Annual budget of 0.12 million pounds.
