European Commission Directorate General for Information Society and Media wish to increase accessibility to ICT products and services by disabled and elderly people. In view of existing problems faced by disabled and elderly users when accessing ICT products and services, the study aims at putting forward potential solution(s) to deal horizontally with the issue of accessibility in order to give those users the same rights as other end users.

Project and Contract
Empirica Gesellschaft für Kommunikations-und Technologieforschung mbH in partnership with Work Research Centre and Blank Group LCC, Oxfordstraße 2, D-53111 Bonn were rewarded the contract. The contract has an estimated budget of EUR 371 400, excluding VAT. This was after the initial estimation of EUR 375 000, excluding VAT.
