Launched the new Marketplace for Innovative ideas

The European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) launched the "Marketplace for Innovative ideas" website. According to developers, the website will help those that are interested and involved in the Partnership to work together and develop their innovative ideas.

As part of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) which was initiated in July 2011, the "Marketplace for Innovative ideas" has been launched. The Marketplace is an interactive website designed for those who are interested and would like to get involved in the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA). According to the developers, this webpage will provide an overview of the EIP on AHA as well as describe the Marketplace, the Action Groups and how it can help people to get involved in innovating for active and healthy ageing.

In particular, thanks to this platform stakeholders can find partners to collaborate with for their initiative/project, find an initiative to participate in, provide and search for information about ageing and innovation, get in touch with stakeholders, participate in discussions in the forum, and promote events related to active and healthy ageing.

With regard to the Action Groups, those are assemblies of partners contributing towards a common objective and committing to run a number of actions within the framework of the EIP on AHA. The Marketplace will also include an online workspace for the EIP on AHA's Action Groups once they are formed this summer, and will provide more information about the Reference sites once they are selected in 2013.
