1000 people already registered to attend ICT Proposers Day 2011

The Hungarian EU Presidency is hosting the coming ICT Proposer's Day 2011. The event will take place in Budapest from 19 to 20 of May and is dedicated to networking and partnership building for ICT Calls 8 and 9 of the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Commission (FP7), offering more than one billion Euros of EU funding.

The registration is already opened and for those who are interested in taking part will have the opportunity to meet 2,500 participants mainly from academia, business and government are expected to attend from all EU Member States, Associated and Candidate Countries.

Furthermore, over 100 Commission officials will be present to provide information on the content of the calls for proposals and advise you on how to submit a proposal. It will be organised in thematic sessions on the Work Programme 2011-12 on ICT research with presentations of proposal ideas, meeting points with Commission officials and information stands in order to help the participants to form project consortia and gather information.

ICT Proposers' Day 2011 is organised every two years by the Information Society and Media Directorate-General of the European Commission which promotes Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
