The Commission establishes a network of European policy analysis
Directorate-General for Regional Policy has launched a tender to establish an expert evaluation network delivering policy analysis in the European Union.
The objective of this tender (B-Brussels: expert evaluation network delivering policy analysis) is to establish an expert evaluation network which will deliver policy analysis and evidence on the performance of cohesion policy programmes, based on the monitoring and evaluation work underway in the Member States, analysing these results in the context of available statistical and policy research.
This process will be done through a contract with a lead contractor who will mobilise, coordinate and synthesise the work of the network. The lead contractor will subcontract national experts.
The network will work in the years 2011–2013. Directorate-General for Regional Policy will conclude a one year contract for 2011 that can be renewed twice by one year if the Directorate-General is satisfied by the quality of work delivered by the network.
The European Commission has set up a maximum budget of 1,300,000 Euros. If the contract is renewed as described, the same maximum volume applies. The renewal is subject to the availability of budgetary means on the side of Directorate-General for Regional Policy. Tenders can be submitted until 4th October 2010.
