New TED website available since March 16th 2010

Since 16 March, the online version of the "Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union", dedicated to European public procurement provides a new interface and new features to its users.

A new TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) Web site interface is available from March 16th improving accessibility and presenting new features, such as browse by heading.

The changes in users’ preferences, address books, notice alerts, customized RSS feeds, and recently viewed documents introduced between March 8th and March 16th have been lost. Preferences of non registered users and search profiles saved before March 16, 2010 have also been lost.

With the redesign of the Web, the interface is much lighter and incorporates technologies which offer a much richer experience to the user in terms of usability and responsiveness of the application to the different search options.

In the left side menu, it has been highlighted the search of invitations to tender issued by the Community institutions and EuropeAid programs of cooperation for development, and it has also been improved the information available for the product codes (Common Procurement Vocabulary - CPV) while searching an announcement, with a floating box for help.
