The Council hosts the exhibition Travesías during the Spanish presidency of the EU

The headquarters of the European Union Council, the Justus Lipsius building in Brussels, will host from 5 January until the end of the Spanish presidency of the EU the latest creative project of Daniel Canogar, the video installation "Travesías".

The installation of "Travesías" is a dome with LED power cables that rises above the public, forming a kind of electronic tapestry. Visitors are also part of the installation as they transit the atrium of the Justus Lipsius building. The instalation will be at the headquarters of EU Council during the Spanish Presidency of the Union, and then will travel to Spain.

The exhibition is co-organized by the Organizing Committee SEACEX-Spanish Presidency of the European Union, the Ministry of the Presidency of the Government of Spain and the Council of the European Union.

Daniel Canogar, born in Madrid in 1964, lives and works in Madrid. He studied visual communications at the Complutense University, and received his Master´s in photography from NYU/ICP in 1990. He has been awarded numerous grants and artist-in-residence positions and has appeared in group and solo exhibitions worldwide.
