EU's Environment Commissioner responds to citizens' questions

Stavros Dimas will participate today between 14 and 17 hours in a digital interview in which he will answer the questions of the Europeans about climate change and the attitude of the Union ahead the Copenhagen summit

The Greek Stavros Dimas, EU Environment Commissioner, will participate today from his personal blog in a chat with the citizens. He will answer their questions about the environmental policy of the Union and the proximity of the United Nations Summit on Climate Change to be held in December in Copenhagen. In it, the Commission will propose an amendment to the Kyoto Protocol.

Biotechnology, sustainable development, networks of nature protection or treatment of waste are just some of the key policies in the European Environment, and Commissioner Dimas will speak on them between 14 and 17 hours.
