The Directorate General for Enterprise and Industry has issued a tender by which it intends to conduct an analytical study of the competitiveness and climate change-related aspects of industry, technology and trade.

At this meeting the European Union will submit an amendment to the Kyoto Protocol and reaffirm their commitment to reduce its emissions by 20% of greenhouse gases by 2020.
The duration of the contract from its award will be 9 months. The financial threshold is estimated at 300 000 EUR. Deadline for submitting tenders or requests to participate is September 8th 2009.
