The EC analyse the impact of Comenius Schools

The Directorate-General for Education and Culture, School Education Unit  of the European Commission will study the impact of Comenius School Partnerships on the participating institutions, according to a tender published on the 10th June 2009

The objective of the study is to implement a study of the impact of Comenius School Partnerships on participating schools, to assess their institutional development and to analyse in which way Comenius School Partnerships influence teaching, learning and classroom management. The study should be based on a sample of approximately 50 schools in at least 10 different European countries; it shall cover the whole lifetime of Comenius School Partnership projects. The study should also identify existing good practice examples and successful strategies to increase the effectiveness and sustainability of Comenius School Partnerships.

Comenius Programme is part of Lifelong Learning Programme and shall address the teaching and learning needs of all those in pre-school and school education up to the level of the end of upper secondary education, and the institutions and organisations providing such education.

The tender, published on June 10, will allow businesses and legal entities stablished in the European Union to submit proposals by July 29, 2009. Proposals must be submitted at the following address:
