Implementing Rules for Pilot Licensing consultation extended

The Implementing Rules for Pilot Licensing consultation deadline has been extended until 15 December.

The Agency extended the consultation period from 15 October until 15 December due to the importance of the subject. Consultation started on the June the 5th.

Consultation on Implementing Rules for Pilot Licensing has tree main issues:

  1. Explanatory Note and Appendices.
  2. Part-FCL.
  3. Part-Medica.

Opionions can be forward to the Agency by the following:

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) promotes the highest common standards of safety and environmental protection in civil aviation in Europe and worldwide. It is the centrepiece of a new regulatory system which provides for a single European market in the aviation industry.

The European Aviation Safety Agency (the Agency) is directly involved in the ruleshaping process. It assists the Commission in its executive tasks by preparing draft regulations, and amendments thereof, for the implementation of the Basic Regulation 1 which are adopted as “Opinions”. It also adopts Certification Specifications, including Airworthiness Codes and Acceptable Means of Compliance and Guidance Material to be used in the certification process.
