"You would like to see your commitment and efforts in sustainable energy recognized at European level and have a chance of being rewarded during a prestigious ceremony in the presence of high-ranking EC’s Officials? Join the Sustainable Energy Europe Award Competition now and become an ambassador of European excellence in sustainable energy!" This was the message sent out by the European Commission DG for Transport and Energy promoting its new SEE Awards Competition.

The Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign is a major initiative from the European Commission/DG Transport and Energy which aims at promoting, showcasing and rewarding outstanding projects and programmes with innovative actions and impressive results.

Based on the success of last year’s edition, the 3rd edition of the SEE Award Competition is now officially launched. Entities and individuals interested are encouraged to join as an official Partner before 31 October 2008 and in turn, will be automatically entered into the prestigious annual award ceremony, to be held in Brussels on 10 February 2009.
