Studying in Europe just got easier

With the website Study in Europe, foreign students from all over the European Union are able to organise and plan study periods, courses and programmes in other countries with greater ease. The site contains full listings of courses and programmes availalbe for undergraduate and post graduate study, an application guide and also offers practical advice for living in Europe.

There are more than four thousand higher education institutions in Europe, from top-level research establishments to small, teaching-focused colleges. Europe itself is no less diverse, extending from the Arctic Circle to the coast of Africa, where tiny principalities sit side-by-side with many of the world’s leading economies. Thus the options are endless. Study in Europe aims to help with practicalities of studying abroad. We provide up-to-date information on thirty-two European countries, their universities and what it takes to live and study in them.

How to apply?

Education UK, part of the British Council, provides details for prospective foreign students, including a course and institution search in multiple languages. The British Council will also be able to inform foreign students in their home countries. UCAS is the main body for managing applications to UK higher education courses and their website provides further information.

Foreign students wishing to study in Spain should make enquiries first of all at their preferred higher education institution. A list of the institutions can be found on the Ministry of Education and Science website, sorted geographically. Application procedures vary from one institution to the other, but will usually require certified academic transcripts and proof of language proficiency. The Instituto Cervantes in your country can also provide further information for prospective students.
