Call for proposals 2021 – Creative Europe - Circulation of European literary works CREA-CULT-2021-LIT Closed!

Objectives

This action will support projects that will translate, publish, distribute and promote works of fiction.
 
Selected projects will contribute to the following objectives:

  • strengthening the transnational circulation and diversity of European literary works in particular by encouraging translations from lesser used languages into English, German, French, Spanish (Castilian) and Italian
  • reaching new audiences for European literary works in the EU and beyond  
  • strengthening the competitiveness of the book sector by encouraging cooperation within the book value chain
     

Actions

In addition to the translation, promotion and distribution activities (import strategy), proposals can also include business-to-business “export” activities to help foster the sales of translation rights in Europe and beyond. The proposed activities should be grouped, in the application form part B, in coherent work packages (i.e. major sub-division of the project). Each work package must have a corresponding list of activities, deliverables, milestones and critical risks
 
The project activities must be organised in the following work packages:

  • WP 1 – Project management
  • WP 2 – Translation
  • WP 3 – Publication and Distribution
  • WP 4 – Promotion and Communication

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 5,00 Million EUR (Global Budget)
