Objectives

The  objective  of the  specificactionsis  to  strengthen  the  capacity  of  personnel  working  for  large  public buyers (i.e. CPBs) to ensure SMEs' access to large public procurement markets, as well as to strengthen the capacity of SMEs to bid for large calls for tenders

Actions

The scope of specific activities to be carried out by the successful applicantsshall include

  • Organisation  and  management  of  a  training  programmefor  staff  working  in  CPBs,  or  in  case these   are   not  established,  for   staffwith   policy, regulatory or   control functions  in   public procurement
  • Selection of suitable trainers teaching CPB personnel
  • Promotion and communication of the training programme
  • Selection of the participants in the training programme
  • Support for selected participants
  • Support to Alumni network
  • Organisation of a conference

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 0,40 Million EUR (Global Budget)
