Call for proposals 2019 - Pilot project - "Protecting the Jewish cemeteries of Europe: Continuation of the mapping process, stakeholders’ involvement and awareness raising EAC/S10/2019 Closed!

Objectives

The objective of the pilot project is to conduct a broad sample survey (hereafter referred to as "mapping") of at least 1500 Jewish cemeteries in Europe (around 25% of the total number), each of which presents a unique challenge with regard to the current state of Jewish cemeteries. The proposed new pilot project shall extend the work carried out within the framework of Pilot project selected following the call EAC/S10/2018

Actions

More specifically, it is expected that the selected organisation/consortium will:

  • Produce a mapping
  • Identify and carry out innovative pilot activities
  • Communicate the project results
  • Contribute to the objectives set by the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 and the European Framework for Action on Cultural Heritage

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 1,05 Million EUR (Global Budget)
