Call for Proposals 2017 - Internal Security Fund - Counter -Terrorism Financing ISFP-2017-AG-TERFIN Closed!


The present Call for Proposals aims at funding projects in the area of reinforcing Counter-Terrorism Financing. Project applications submitted under the present Call for Proposals must address at least one of the following priorities:

  1. The development of public-private partnerships between financial institutions, payment service providers, Financial Intelligence Units, law enforcement and other relevant public authorities in order to facilitate the exchange of information about terrorism and terrorist financing, in a collaborative and secure environment
  2. Establishment of a network of counter-terrorism financial investigators to reinforce the effectiveness of financial investigations in terrorism cases.


The following types of activities are eligible under this Call for Proposals:

  • development of working methods for the functioning of public private partnerships,
  • protocols and mechanisms for sharing information between private and public actors,
  • development of concepts for the infrastructure for collaborative work, such as secure facilities or IT systems for information exchange,
  • organisation of and participation in meetings; partnership and networking activities and events,
  • exchange of best practices between equivalent national partnerships,
  • development of partnerships at EU level,
  • exchange of best practices, investigation techniques and experiences,
  • trends and risk analysis,
  • training activities,
  • preparation of studies,
  • communication activities

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 2,50 Million EUR (Global Budget)
