Objectives

The call aims to co-fund national or transnational projects on  non-discrimination  and  Roma  integration  in line with the specific objective to promote the effective implementation of the principle of non-discrimination  on  the  grounds  of  sex,  racial  or  ethnic  origin,  religion  or  belief, disability, age or sexual orientation.

In  this  call,  the  Commission  wishes  to  support  activities  which tackle  at  least  one  of  the  following  groups  at  risk  of  discrimination:

  • racial or ethnic  minorities,  
  • persons  with disabilities,
  • older/younger people,
  • religious minorities and LGBTI people

Actions

The call will fund activities on:

  • training and cooperation of relevant professionals (health and house services, police, the   judiciary,  social   workers,    teachers,   employers,   trade   union   representatives, university  staff  etc.)  to  better  prevent  and  respond  to  non-discrimination, including through   the   establishment   of   formal   or   informal   procedures   and   support programmes to respond to cases;
  • mutual learning, exchange of good practices, cooperation, including identifying best practices which may be transferable to other participating countries;
  • dissemination and awareness raising activities (including at local level), such as seminars, conferences, campaigns or social media and press activities

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 2,77 Million EUR (Orientation of the budget)
