Objectives

This call for proposals for action grants is based on the 2015 annual work programme1 of the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (REC Programme). It aims to co-fund transnational projects, which are in line with the specific objective of the programme, to prevent and combat racism, xenophobia, homophobia and other forms of intolerance.

Actions

The proposals under this call shall focus on the priorities described below:
  • Best practices to prevent and combat racism, xenophobia, homophobia and other forms of intolerance (BEST)
  • Training and capacity building for strengthening criminal responses to hate crime and hate speech (TRAI)
  • Empowering and supporting victims of hate crime and hate speech (VICT)

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 5,40 Million EUR (Global Budget)
