The Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020) is implemented by specific programme and work programmes.

The “Excellent science” priority aims to reinforce and extend the excellence of the Union's science base and to consolidate the ERA in order to make the Union's research and innovation system more competitive on a global scale


This call focuses on opening up key national and regional research infrastructures to all European researchers from both academia and industry as well as ensuring their optimal use and joint development.

Actions foreseen within this call for proposals include the following topics:

  • INFRAIA-01-2016-2017:Integrating Activities for Advanced Communities
  • INFRAIA-02-2017:Integrating Activities for Starting Communities

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 208,00 Million EUR (Global Budget)

  • 30 March 2016 - 5 years ago (The deadline for the presentation of proposals for area 1)
  • 29 March 2017 - 4 years ago (The deadline for the presentation of proposals for area 2)
