The cooperation programme addresses transnational challenges associated with the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategy in the south-west of Europe. It supports cooperation in the smart development and sustainable development spheres, focusing in particular on cooperation between the research and innovation networks, by developing the dissemination of applied research linked to Key Enabling Technologies (KETs), and encouraging cooperation between the various departments and institutions that support the development and internationalisation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).


  1. Promoting innovatory capacity to create smart and sustainable growth.
  2. Boosting the competitiveness and internationalisation of SMEs.
  3. Improving policies on energy efficiency in public buildings and housing.
  4. Preventing and managing risks more efficiently.
  5. Protecting the environment and promoting resource efficiency.

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 40,20 Million EUR (Global Budget)
