Objectives

The overall objective of this Call for Proposals is to support existing Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups operating light civil Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), as well as potential entrepreneurs, by facilitating their access to applicable national and European law, including requirements and procedures. This goal will be reached through the development of a web portal, which will be the gateway to relevant information, practical guidance and interactive training tools.

The European Commission aims at:
  • Reduce illegal operations.
  • Improve safety.
  • Better address privacy and data protection.
  • Unchain the market potential of civil applications of light RPAS.

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 1,00 Million EUR (Global Budget)
