Call for proposals for Marie Skłodowska-Curie action: Innovative Training Networks (ITN) – 2015 H2020-MSCA-ITN-2015 Closed!


The Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020) is implemented by specific programme and work programmes. 
The “Excellent science” priority aims to reinforce and extend the excellence of the Union's science base and to consolidate the ERA in order to make the Union's research and innovation system more competitive on a global scale. It consists of four specific objectives, and this call for proposal is focused on:
  • "Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions" provides excellent and innovative research training as well as attractive career and knowledge-exchange opportunities through cross-border and cross-sector mobility of researchers to best prepare them to face current and future societal challenges. 
The Innovative Training Networks (ITN) aim to train a new generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative early-stage researchers, able to face current and future challenges and to convert knowledge and ideas into products and services for economic and social benefit.

ITN will raise excellence and structure research and doctoral training, extending the traditional academic research training setting, and equipping researchers with the right combination of research-related and transferable competences. It will provide enhanced career perspectives in both the academic and non-academic sectors through international, interdisciplinary and inter-sector mobility combined with an innovation-oriented mind-set.

  • MSCA-ITN-2015-EID: Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITN-EID)
  • MSCA-ITN-2015-EJD: Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITN-EJD)
  • MSCA-ITN-2015-ETN: Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (ITN-ETN)

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 370,00 Million EUR (Global Budget)
