1. Pursues the following general objectives:

  • To improve the knowledge and understanding of the situation prevailing in the Member States.
  • Support the development of statistical tools and methods and common indicators, where appropriate broken down by gender and age group.
  • Support and monitor the implementation of Community law.
  • Promote networking.
  • Enhance awareness.
  • Boost the capacity of key European level networks.

2. Gender mainstreaming shall be promoted in all sections of and activities under the Programme.

3. The results achieved in the Programme sections and activities shall be disseminated to those involved and to the public as appropriate. The Commission shall conduct exchanges of views with the main stakeholders as appropriate.


The general aim of this Call for Proposals is to fund initiatives in order to enhance the implementation, application and enforcement of the Directive 96/71/EC4 concerning the posting of workers in the framework of provision of services in practice.

The specific objectives are the following:

  • Promotion of transnational cooperation among stakeholders and dissemination of best practices.
  • Increase of the knowledge about and the transparency of the different administrative ooperation systems in the Member States.
  • Increase of the knowledge about and the transparency of the different practises and terms and conditions of employment to be respected, in the Member States.
  • Promotion of exchange and training of relevant officials and social partners.
  • Promotion of exchange of information and best practices, such as developing or updating databases or joint websites containing general or sector-specific information concerning terms and conditions of employment to be respected, among the stakeholders.

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 2,44 Million EUR (Global Budget)
