Objectives

The Programme on protecting children using the Internet and other communication technologies (‘Safer Internet’) invites proposals for actions to be financed under the programme. ‘Safer Internet’ is based on four actions:

  1. ensuring public awareness;
  2. fighting against illegal content and tackling harmful conduct online;
  3. promoting a safer online environment;
  4. establishing a knowledge base.

Part 2 — Evaluation criteria

The evaluation of proposals will be based on the principles of transparency and equality of treatment. It will be carried out by the Commission with the assistance of independent experts.

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 2,28 Million EUR (Global Budget)
