Call for proposals – Kazakhstan local development EuropeAid/133499/L/ACT/KZ Closed!


The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to improve local development policies and public service delivery, in particular for vulnerable groups, in three pilot oblasts: East Kazakhstan, Mangystau and Kyzylorda.

The specific objective of this Call for Proposals is the strengthening the capacities and voice of citizens and civil society actors to contribute to local development decision making and implementation, service delivery, monitoring and advocacy in particular in areas related to vulnerable groups.


Empowerment of civil society to monitor, advocate, analyze and contribute to Local /Regional Development policies and public service delivery. Actions must take place in: Kazakhstan (Regions of Mangystau, Kyzylorda, East-Kazakhstan). Actions covering various regional administrations within one oblast (cities, towns, villages…) are welcome.

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 1,05 Million EUR (Orientation of the budget)

Bodies or institutes must have their registered legal seat in one of the countries taking part in the Programme which are:

  • European Union (EU)
  • Candidate Countries
  • European Economic Area (EEA)
