Call for Proposals - "Materials for Green Cars" - 2013 FP7-2013-GC-Materials Closed!

Objectives

The objective of the Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and New Production Technologies (NMP) work programme is to improve the competitiveness of European industry and generate knowledge to ensure its transformation from a resource-intensive to a knowledge-intensive industry, by generating step changes in knowledge and implementing decisive knowledge for new applications at the crossroads between different technologies and disciplines. This will benefit both new, high-tech industries and higher-value, knowledge-based traditional industries, with a special focus to the appropriate dissemination of RTD results to SMEs.

The 'Green Cars' initiative involves research on a broad range of technologies and smart energy infrastructures essential to achieve a breakthrough in the use of renewable and non-polluting energy sources, safety and traffic fluidity.
