Call for proposals - Actions for Cooperation and Information on Social Security Coordination VP/2012/004 Closed!

Objectives

The objectives of this call for proposals are to support:

  1. Initiatives and actions with a trans-national dimension, which aim at developing cooperation between social security institutions; and/oraim at improving information of the public about their rights and obligations deriving from the EU Regulations on social security coordination when exercising the right of free movement;
  2. Trans-national initiatives and actions aiming at preparing and implementing the system for electronic data exchange (EESSI);
  3. National initiatives and actions aiming at preparing and implementing the system for electronic data exchange (EESSI).

Actions

On the basis of the objectives as described above, three sub-programmes have been defined.

  1. Trans-national actions for cooperation between social security institutions and/or for improving information of the public about their rights and obligation deriving from the EU Regulations on social security coordination
  2. Trans-national actions for preparing and implementing the system for electronic data exchange (EESSI)
  3. National actions for preparing and implementing the system for electronic data exchange (EESSI)

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 2,63 Million EUR (Orientation of the budget)

Opened to the following bodies or institutes with legal status established in the covered areas:

Bodies or institutes must have their registered legal seat in one of the countries taking part in the Programme which are:

  • European Union (EU)
  • Candidate Countries
  • European Economic Area (EEA)
