Call for proposals - Supporting the coordination of national and regional policies and activities of Member States and Associated Countries in the field of international cooperation. Activity ERA-NET FP7-INCO-2010-3 Closed!

Objectives

The objective of the ERA-NET scheme is to step up the cooperation and coordination of research programmes at national or regional level in the Member or Associated States through the networking of research programmes. This is ultimately aimed at their mutual opening and the development and implementation of joint activities.

In order to promote/encourage effective international scientific EU cooperation strategy at European level, a coordination of national and regional policies and programmes of Member States and Associated States is essential to fulfil the commitments made in the S&T bi-regional and bi-lateral dialogues. ERA-NET activities should help implement the recent communications on the strategic framework for international S&T cooperation as well as on joint programming. The activities will contribute to the success of the European Research Area by improving the coherence and coordination of international S&T cooperation programmes across Europe.
