Call for proposals 2010 - EU-US Cooperation in Higher Education and Vocational Training EACEA/31/09 Closed!

Objectives

The general objectives are to promote mutual understanding between the peoples of the European Union and the United States of America including broader knowledge of their languages, cultures and institutions and to improve the quality of human resource development in both the European Union and the United States of America.

Actions

Action1 — Transatlantic Degree Consortia Projects

(Max. 48 months)

This Action provides support for consortia of EU and U.S. higher education institutions to implement dual/double or joint degree programs referred to in the present document as ‘Transatlantic Degrees’. Support includes mobility grants for students and members of the academic and administrative staff.

Action2 — Excellence in Mobility Projects

(Max. 48 months)

This Action provides funding for international curriculum development projects that involve short-term transatlantic mobility not directly related to the award of a joint or dual/double degree. Support includes mobility grants for students and members of the academic and administrative staff.

Action 3 — Policy-oriented Measures

(Max. 24 months)

This Action provides support to multilateral EU-U.S. projects and activities designed to enhance collaboration in the higher education and vocational training field.

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 5,50 Million EUR (Global Budget)
