Call for proposals under the programme "People" implementing the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Community - International Incoming Fellowships - FP7-PEOPLE-2009-IIF FP7-PEOPLE-2009-IEF Closed!
Objectives
The European Commission has published a call for proposals within the framework of the Working People Program of the Seventh Framework Program of the European Community for research, technological development and demonstration (2007 to 2013) concerning the granting of international incoming fellowships with the aim of attracting high-level researchers from third countries to work and collaborate on knowledge transfer in Europe for a period of one or two years.
These actions address researchers at all stages of their careers, in the public and private sectors, from initial research training, specifically intended for researchers at the early stages of their career, to life-long learning and career development, as well as for knowledge transfer between sectors andwith the rest of the world. Efforts will also be made to increase participation by women researchers, and to ensure that researchers can achieve an appropriate work/life balance and by facilitating resuming a research career after a break.
