Call for proposals under the work programme People of the 7th EC Framework Programme for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration Activities FP7-PEOPLE-2009-EURAXESS Closed!

Objectives

Notice has been given of the launch of a call for proposals under the work programme “People” of the 7th Framework Programme of the European Community for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration Activities (2007 to 2013), concerning trans-national operation of the EURAXESS Services Network, which is a one-stop shop for researchers seeking to advance their careers and personal development by moving to other countries.

Actions

This funding scheme allows for two different types of actions to be financed:

  • Co-ordination (or networking) actions: aimed at coordinating research activities and policies.
  • Support actions: aimed at contributing to the implementation of the Framework Programmes and the preparation of future Community research and technological development policy or the development of synergies with other policies, or to stimulate, encourage and facilitate the participation of SMEs, civil society organisations and their networks, or small research teams and newly developed or remote research centres in the activities of the thematic areas of the Cooperation programme. Support actions normally focus on one specific activity and often one specific event.

European community funding

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

  • 2,00 Million EUR (Annual budget for 2009)

Organisations eligible to participate

Opened to the following bodies or institutes with legal status established in the covered areas:

  • Universities
  • Any legal organisation
  • Non profit organisations
  • Non-governmental organization

Covered areas

Bodies or institutes must have their registered legal seat in one of the countries taking part in the Programme which are:

  • European Union (EU)
