Notice is given of the launch of call for proposals ERC-2009-AdG under the 2009 Ideas work programme of the 7th EC Framework Programme of the European Community for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration Activities (2007-2013). Specific Programme "Ideas" aims to reinforce excellence, dynamism and creativity in European research and improve the attractiveness of Europe for the best researchers from both European and third countries. This call will grant funding from the European Research Council, ERC, to researchers of any nationality who would like to establish their research activity up in any Member State as well as any Associated country.

This calls for proposals is sub-divided into three sub-calls:

• ERC-2009-AdG_20090325: for the domain Physical Sciences and Engineering: 39%. Deadline March, 25th, 2009.
• ERC-2009-AdG_20090415: for the domain Social Sciences and Humanities: 34%. Deadline April, 15th, 2009.
• ERC-2009-AdG_20090506: for the domain Life Sciences: 14%. Deadline May, 6th, 2009.

The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:

• 489,54 Million EUR (Annual budget for 2009)

• 15 April 2009 - 16 years ago (Deadline for the presentation of proposals)
• 06 May 2009 - 16 years ago (Deadline for the presentation of proposals)
