Call for proposals MEDIA 2007 - Support for the implementation of Pilot Projects MEDIA 2007 Closed!
Objectives
The current Call advertised is is based on Decision No 1718/2006/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 November 2006 concerning the implementation of a programme of support for the European audiovisual sector (MEDIA 2007). The main objective to is strengthen the competitiveness of the European audiovisual sector in the framework of an open and competitive European market favourable to employment, including by promoting links between audiovisual professionals. Also to increase the circulation and viewership of European audiovisual works inside and outside the European Union.
Actions
The measures covered by the Decision include the implementation of Pilot Projects:
- Distribution: new ways of creating and distributing European content via non linear services.
- Open Media Production Environment.
- Previously funded Projects: Projects which have received funding under a previous MEDIA Pilot Projects Call for Proposals.
European community funding
The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:
- 2,00 Million EUR (Annual budget for 2008)
