Objectives
The European Commission published, in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ), on the 6th May 2008 a new Calls for Proposals under the ‘Capacities’ work programme (FP7-INFRASTRUCTURES-2008-2) of the 7th EC Framework Programme for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration Activities (2007-2013). The objective of the Call is to optimise the use and development of research infrastructures, unlocking the research potential in the EU's convergence and outermost regions, bringing science and society closer together for the harmonious integration of science and technology in European society and foster actions and measures in support of international cooperation.
Actions
- Service activities include, to provide specific research infrastructures related services to the scientific community.
- Joint research activities include being innovative and explore new fundamental technologies or techniques underpinning the efficient and joint use of the participating research infrastructures.
European community funding
The Community provisional funding available for the call for proposals is:
- 20,00 Million EUR (Annual budget for 2008)
