  2. A European study analyses the use of payback clauses as a way to encourage investment in training

    The European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP) has published a study which examines how the use of financing schemes using payback clauses for training may encourage companies to invest in employees' training. These clauses allow companies to offer training to their workers by safeguarding their investment if the employee leaves the company.

  3. The EU allocates additional €22 million to finance projects in Eastern neighbourhood

    The European Commission has adopted the first part of the 2012 Regional Action Programme for the Eastern Neighbourhood whose main objectives will focus on funding projects in the field of transport and environmental protection. The remaining part of the Action Programme is expected to be adopted in successive tranches over 2012.
