Stockholm Programme published in the OJEU

The Official Journal of the EU on May 4th contains the final publication of the Programme of Stockholm, the text that defines the new EU Common Strategy on freedom, security and justice.

The OJEU May 4 contains the final text of the Stockholm Programme, which will frame the action of the Union on issues of citizenship, justice, security, asylum and immigration for the the next five years.

The first agreement on this programme was reached by the European Commission in 2009, when it adopted two communications evaluating the actions taken by the European Union on security and justice and describing the actions that take place in the future under this new Stockholm Programme.
