On 10 June 2008, Shell Deutschland Oil GmbH entered  into  an  agreement  with  AFS  Aviation  Fuel Services GmbH  and  Deutsche  BP  AG  to  acquire  a  shareholding  in  GlobeFuel  Systems  &  Services GmbH. After the consummation of the proposed concentration, Shell, BP and AFS (and through AFS: Lufthansa) will  have  joint  control  over  GlobeFuel,  which  will  operate  as  a  full-function  stand-alone entity.
