EC proceedings in the case Nokia/Navteq

The European Commmision decided on 28 March 2008 to initiate proceedings in the case COMP/M.4942 — Nokia/Navteq. The information has been published in the OJ last 5th April 2008.

Proceedings comes because the concentration might raises serious doubts as to its compatibility with the common market. The initiation of proceedings opens a second phase investigation with regard to the notified concentration, and is without prejudice to the final decision on the case.
